The Leeds Art Fund: Data Protection

In May 2018 the current Data Protection Art is replaced by a broader and in some respects more stringent set of rules, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data we gather and hold is managed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data we keep about you are your names and addresses, your telephone number(s) and your email address (if you have agreed for its use for communications). We also keep a record of subscription payments and any Gift Aid declaration made. We use these data to keep in touch with you, to send you the Fund’s Newsletter, to provide you with information about the Fund’s events and activities and to send you any other information we think may be of interest to you as a member. We will never share your data with any other organisations.

Our Policy

  • Your information will be held on a computer database by the Leeds Art Fund, for use by is officers in administering / recording details of your membership and subscription payments (and Gift Aid declaration, if any), and to keep you informed by Newsletter or otherwise of appropriate events etc
  • Your information will be used only for purposes directly concerned to membership of the Leeds Art Fund or its events or to enable Gift Aid to be claimed.
  • You can at any time ask for a copy of the information held by us about yourself or to withdraw your consent for its use.

When someone visits leedsartfund.org we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
