Visit to Scampston Hall and Walled Garden

Scampston Hall, near Malton, was last remodelled in 1795-1800 and its Regency interior houses a very fine art collection. We will have a private house tour in the morning, and an introduction to the contemporary Walled Garden with the Head Gardener in the afternoon.
With much of the surrounding historic landscape modelled by Capability Brown, Piet Oudolf's naturalistic approach provides a striking contrast and much food for thought.
Tickets £35 include refreshments on arrival and admission to the House and the Walled Garden. Please note the price does not include travel or lunch but Scampston has an excellent cafe and picnics in the grounds are welcome.
